Created in the year 2000 by its leader Cheikh Ousman JAWO, the Fityaanou Sidqine Association started its activities with a small group of young volunteers between Senegal and the Gambia, The Association began its activities in education in Senegal, and got later officialized in the Gambia and after in Bissau Guinea. The Association starts collaborating with the respectives government of those countries.
Fityaanu Sidqin becomes today a large association operating in education and social development.

The Fityanu Sidqin Association aims to be a Worldwide NGO which promote children education and social development all around the world, especially Africa.

Fityaanu Sidqin Association carries out various programs in education, health, Malaria support, livelihoods, agriculture for food security and entrepreneurship.This means that Fityaanu Sidqin Association spend a lot of its time in the field working with communities in various projects. The participating groups include volunteers, community leaders, religious and partner organizations

Twenty-one years since its creation, the Association has met several social challenges and created many projects to accompany children, particularly in rural areas, in order to reach their needs for social fulfillment.  With more than 8,000 children under its responsibility, the Association aims to participate in major global challenges which consist in the society Education is considered by the Fityanu Sidqin Association as the main factor to change and develop promote children education in Africa and all around the world.
In term of education, the Association has accomplished many projects.
Around 20 schools and 2000 students in the Gambia, more than 30 schools with around 3000 students in Senegal, around 25 schools with more than 3000 students in Guinea Bissau
