WHO WE ARE?
Created in year 2000 by its leader Sheikh Ousman JAWO, the Fityaanou Sidqine Association started its activities with a small group of young volunteers between Senegal and the Gambia.
The Association began its activities in education and got officialised in Senegal, later in the Gambia and after in Bissau Guinea. The Jamiyatou Fityaanou Sidkhine starts collaborating with the respective governments of those countries.
Fityaanu Sidqin become today is a large development association operating in education and social development.
Vision
The Fityanu Sidqin Association aims to be a Worldwide NGO which promote children education and social development all around the world, especially Africa.
Mission
Fityaanu SidqinAssociation carries out various programs in education, health, support, livelihoods, agriculture for food security, and entrepreneurship. This means that Fityaanu Sidqin Association spend a lot of its time in the field working with communities in various projects. The participating groups include volunteers, community leaders, religious, and partner organizations.

Children Education in rural area
Education is considered by the Fityanu SidqinAssociation as the main factor to change and develop the society.
Twenty-one years since its creation, the Association has met several social challenges and created many projects to accompany children, particularly in rural areas, in order to reach their needs for social fulfillment. With more than 8,000 children under its responsibility, the Association aims to participate in major global challenges which consist of promoting children education in Africa and all around the world.
In terms of education, the Association has accomplished many projects.
Around 20 schools and 2000 students in the Gambia, more than 30 schools with
around 3000 students in Senegal, around 50 schools with more than 6000 students in Guinea Bissau.
Our main causes
The Fityaanu Sidqin Association’s main causes concerns child care, child education, social and development and Women’s empowerment
Islamic Religion
Fityaanou Sidkhine is a religious association that promotes education in Islamic values and supports Islamic communities by providing them with Islamic infrastructure; - Mosques - Daaras - And food assistance for Islamic holidays such as Eid Al Adha, Eid El Fitr etc.
Child education
With more than 8,000 children under its responsibility, the Association aims to participate in major global challenges which consist in promote children education in Africa, particularly in rural areas.
Social & development
Fityaanu Sidqin Association is also doing social & development activities to support people in rural areas. We recognize the weakness and vulnerability of people in the campaign and seek to fight and prevent poverty, hunger.
Women's empowerment
The Fityaanou Sidkhine Association supports and accompanies women for their empowerment. We are also active in women's entrepreneurship activities and in raising women's awareness about health and well-being.
